April Showers Bring May Flowers
As sisters we get together over the weekend and do some sort of activity together. It could be as simple as sitting down with one another for a home-made dinner or The Farmers Market, but regardless it is imperative that we connect with one another (especially after a hectic week, lol).
On this specific occasion, we chose The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens - I mean how could we not, who doesn’t love flowers? The last Botanical Garden we visited was in New Orleans to celebrate our birthday’s. If you haven’t gone, you definitely should - it was incredibly serene, gorgeous, and it makes you feel as if you’re taken back to different time period. We’ve added some pictures if you’d like to check it out below.
What we really like about the Arboretum in Dallas was how spacious it is. You really could just cruise around for hours. We always make it a point to check out places like this for inspiration in the form of color palettes or designs, and to even gain extra knowledge about lesser-known flowers, like the African violet. The staff and visitors were so kind. It was awesome to see so many people come together for picnicking and exploration. Filled with family, friends, wonder and love.
